It’s not often that I get tempted by a sweet treat. I’ve always just preferred savory foods. But this little number got my attention. Perhaps because it’s made with almond flour. I do so love almonds…. and almonds in cookies? What could possibly be better?
1 1/3 cups of almond flour, lightly packed
1 cup of unsalted butter, chilled and cut into cubes
Pinch of kosher salt
2 eggs

1 cup whole wheat flour, spooned and leveled
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
3/4 cup light-brown sugar
1 large egg
8 ounces semi sweet chocolate, cut into 30 squares
15 large marshmallows, halved horizontally
